Configuring and Using a Microphone

KMPPlus fully supports the use of an external Microphone, either attached to a Sound Device (Sound Card) or attached separately (USB device). Once configured and activated (ON), you'll be able to vary the Microphone input volume (important for proper mixing), and adjust the level of effects (echo) applied to your voice.

To configure the Microphone...

The following dialog will appear, follow the steps below....

·Click the "Setup" link found below the "Microphone" label on the Main Screen.  
 
The dialog above will appear...  
 
·Select the "Sound Device" that your Microphone is attached to. HINT: If utilizing a stand-alone Microhone device, such as a USB Microphone, the actual Microphone device should be available within the selections.  
·Select the actual Device Input Port (Channel) that your Microphone is plugged into. HINT: This will usually be a "Microphone" or "Line In" port. If both are listed, select "Microphone".
