Connecting to the Server

Of course, before the Remote Request Client can be of any use, it must successfully connect to the Remote Request Server running on your CompuHost "Host" computer.
IMPORTANT: Be sure the Remote Request Server is loaded and running on the networked Host computer before launching the Remote Request Client (KIOSK).


On startup, the Remote Request Client will automatically attempt to locate and connect to the Remote Request Server. If a connection is established, the Client will check to ensure the Songbase datafile is current, if not, the datafile is automatically updated.

In the event that a connection CANNOT be established, you may click CANCEL and proceed to diagnose the problem. (See. Network Troubleshooting)
