CompuHost offers extended functionality in the form of "Shortcut Features".
These features are intended to "shortcut" existing functionality found in CompuHost.

Ongoing Song List Editing feature

This feature allows for instant editing of the SongList Record related to the Performance currently underway. This is useful for flagging song listings that may be damaged or offensive etc.

To access this feature, press CTRL-E while the performance is underway, or BEFORE launching the next performance. The following dialog will appear, allowing you to "FLAG" the listing as needed. You may also provide an optional "NOTE" if desired.

NOTE: After a listing is "Flagged", future playback or selection of the listing will result in a popup "Warning", thus giving the user an opportunity to abort the playback if necessary.

To quickly identify (list) ALL "Flagged" listings, utilize the "Right-Click Menu" by clicking your RIGHT Mouse Button within the List box.

The "Quick-Launch" feature

Enabled by checking the "Enable Quick-Launch" box on the Main Screen

·This feature alters the "Double-Click" function of the Performer's Song Queue from "Edit" to "Launch", which means that instead of opening the Song Edit Window when you "double-click" a listing, the selected song selection will immediately launch instead.

The "Find All Matches" feature

Often times a Performer may request a Song Selection that you may wish to substitute with another selection, possibly another Brand/Series from your SongList.

·When Adding a Song Request in the "Add Songs" dialog, you may APPEND a "+" (Plus Sign) to any Song ID and click "Retrieve" to be presented with a list of ALL available listings matching the Title and Artist of the original request.

Example: A Performer presents a request for Song# 10290, "My Way" by "Frank Sinatra". You may quickly view a list of ALL listings for "My Way" by "Frank Sinatra" by simply entering "10290+" and clicking the "Retrieve" button.
