You'll notice that the dialog is divided into 6 steps...

Step 1 Select CDG Reader
·Inserting CD+G Disc
·Take note of the Brand and Manufacture DiscID of the CD+G Disc you wish to import. (You'll use this information in an upcoming step)
·Insert the CD+G Disc in your CD Drive
·Click "Refresh TrackList" (1) to refresh the track listing and reflect the tracks residing on the inserted CD+G Disc.
·Select Desired Ripping Speed. (NOTE: Slower ripping speeds often result in higher quality Video Lyrics display.)

Step 2 AutoNaming Files
This feature requires that a Registered Copy of FastTracks V2 SongBook Creator be installed on the System.
If you DO NOT have a Registered copy of FastTracks V2 SongBook Creator installed on the system please jump to "Manually Naming MP3+G Files" below
1. Enter the Manufacture's Disc ID (2).
2. Click "Retrieve".
3. You may also click "Select" (3) to locate the Disc utilizing drop-down menu selections

·Manually Naming Files
(In the event that the AutoNaming feature is not available, you must Manually Name each file you wish imported.)
1. The Manufacture Disc ID MUST be provided (3) (Figure 1) .
2. For each track you wish to import, select the listing from list (4) (Figure 1) and click the "Manually Name File" button (5) (Figure 1)
3. Provide the Title and Artist in the popup dialog. It is recommended that an Artist Naming Format of "Last Name, First Name" be utilized where possible.

·Tagging Tracks
Tag the tracks you wish imported by double-clicking on each listing in list (4) (Figure 1), or you may Tag ALL listings by simply clicking "Tag All" (5) (Figure 1)

Step 4 - Select Desired Output File Format
You may choose from FOUR selections.
·MP3+G: This is an uncompressed format. Selecting this format will result in larger files and less efficient use of hard drive space.
·WMA+G: This is an uncompressed format. Selecting this format will result in larger files and less efficient use of hard drive space.
·Zipped MP3+G: This is a compressed format. Resulting files are smaller and utilizes less hard drive space.
·Zipped: WMA+G: This is a compressed format. Resulting files are smaller and utilizes less hard drive space.

NOTE: Although either of the WMA+G file formats may result in higher audio quality, not many applications support this format, therefore portability may be limited.

Step 5 - Select Optional Processing
1.   MULTIPLEX DISCS ONLY - Activate this option if you wish the "vocal" channel to be removed from the track(s) while ripping.

Step 6 - Select the Desired Destination Folder
1. Click "Select Destination Folder".
2. A Folder Selection Dialog will appear. Navigate and locate the Folder you wish to store your ripped "MP3+G/WMA+G Files" in.
3. Click "OK"

IMPORTANT: It is important that the files are NOT moved from this location at anytime after the ripping process. This is NOT a Temporary Folder.

Step 6 - Select the Desired BitRate.
(9) (Figure 1)
Bitrate refers to the compression level of the resulting MP3/WMA Audio file. The smaller the BitRate, the smaller the resulting file. However, smaller BitRates also result in lower quality audio files. Thus we recommend a BitRate of no less than 160, preferably 192.

Begin Importation Process (10) (Figure 1)
1. Click "Start" .
2. The Automated Importation Process will commence. You may monitor its progress via the On Screen Progress Bars at the bottom of the dialog.

Saving Setup Options
1.Click "Save Current Settings as Default" to save your current settings for automated recall on future ripping sessions

Repeat the preceding steps for each CD+G Disc you wish to import.
