CompuHost continues to improve through the suggestions and feedback from our valued users.

• Version 1.70 Released April 9, 2008

FEATURE ADDITIONS

• Added Exciting New File Selection Dialog
  - Allows for rapid File Searches including Recursive Searches (Searching Subfolders) while making file selections. Great for searching and adding FillerTunes Audio Files.
  - Allows for Multiple File Selection (CTRL-Click, SHIFT-Click, CTRL-A) where applicable.
  - Includes an innovative "InstaFolder" feature that provides several configurable InstaFolder Buttons that once configured, allow jumping to the configured folder as easy as clicking a button!

• New "Random Selection (Kamikaze)" feature while adding songs to a Performer's Queue!

• Includes a New MP3Sentry feature that scans and identifies Bad/Corrupt MP3 Audio Files on the fly.

• Inactivating/Activating Performers now updates the "Next Performance Time".

  • Performer History is now preserved during SongList Rebuilds!

  • CompuHost assigned Song Numbers are now preserved between SongList Rebuilds!

  • Ability to make MULTIPLE Selections from Searchable SongList!

  • New BROAD MATCH SongList Search capability! All searches now include the Title, Artist, Manufactures Disk ID and CompuHost assigned ID columns by default. Selecting the Title, Artist, Disc ID tabs now simply change the displayed results order. Therefore you can now enter "pres lone sc" to quickly locate your SC version of "Are You Lonesome Tonight" by "Elvis Presley"!

  • Main Performer History dialog (History|View History) includes new functionality such as multiple/selective exports, selective deletions etc.

OTHER CHANGES

• Minor corrections to eliminate occasional errors during SongList Refreshing. Tracks ripped and imported by CDGRip did not always reflect immediately after ripping.

• Includes CDGRip v.1.57.12 which includes changes necessary to correct File Permission errors on some computers and enhancements and fixes directed toward users that may have been experiencing issues with some external USB CDROM devices..

• BUG FIX: When overriding the proposed Performer position while adding Performers, and utilizing the instant popup Song Selection dialog, the selected songs were not being placed with the correct performer at times. FIXED.

• FIX: Errors were produced when playing corrupted CDG files. File corruption is now ignored to allow continued playback. However, corrupted CDG files may produce unexpected visual lyrics playback.

• Extensive Optimizations intended to reduce CPU Usage and improve Memory Management.

• Added "Manual Configuration" of Audio Settings to Recording Device Setup thus allowing the user to select from ALL available formats.
• Added Performer "Active/Inactive" feature to allow Performer(s) to remain in rotation yet not appear on the VRS (Visual Rotation Scroller) if set to inactive.
• Added convenient "Quick-Click" popup menu to Performer List allowing for faster toggling of Active status, deletions, and edits of performers. To utilize this feature simply select a performer from the list and click the RIGHT mouse button to display the Quick-Click menu options.

- Added optional "Evaluation Screen" for users wishing to view the Auxiliary Screen output without the necessity of a second monitor or TV attached. Please bare in mind that this feature is for EVALUATION PURPOSES ONLY. A second Monitor/TV is REQUIRED for proper operation in real life situations.
